Keith Devlin’s current research is focused on the use of various media to teach and communicate mathematics to diverse audiences. In this connection, he is a co-founder and President of an educational technology company, BrainQuake, that creates mathematics learning video games. He also works on the design of information/reasoning systems for intelligence analysis.

Dr. Devlin is affiliated with Stanford's Department of Math and Co-founder of H-STAR; Media-X. He is NPR’s Math Guy. 

Interactive media and games increasingly pervade and shape our society. In addition to their dominant roles in entertainment, videogames play growing roles in education, arts, science and health. This seminar series brings together a diverse set of experts to provide interdisciplinary perspectives on these media regarding their history, technologies, scholarly research, industry, artistic value and potential future.

Free and open to the public on space available basis.
