Bringing a new business idea to fruition requires a sequential, systematic process - from preliminary brainstorming to long-term ownership. This introductory course will reveal how to successfully ideate and assess the market viability of concepts in their earliest stages, helping to accelerate the development timeline. Using detailed decision-making frameworks, you will learn how to examine and evaluate a potential new product or service to determine market relevance - and acquire the necessary tools to develop a functional business model.

Topic areas include:

  • Making realistic "market sense" of proposed new business ventures
  • Eliminating complexity and uncertainty in the development process
  • What tools are needed to create a workable business model, and more

Course Materials
Video lectures will be available for you to view at your own pace upon enrollment. They will be available to view anytime for 60 days after you enroll. Course materials, including lecture slides and templates (but not videos) will be available for you to download, and an entrepreneurship coach will be available for help through email during this same period.

Final Assignment
Completion of each REV course requires that you submit a PowerPoint deck and a short video presenting the deck. Your presentation will be reviewed by an entrepreneurship coach. After it is deemed complete, you'll receive an email with your course Record of Completion.

If you complete all four courses in the REV program successfully, you'll receive a Certificate of Achievement.
