(This is the online course in the Strategies for Sustainability program.)
In this course, you’ll gain a broad perspective on sustainability – what it is, why business is increasingly integrating sustainability into core strategy, and how companies are capturing associated benefits through risk mitigation and value creation. Using a systems lens, this course enables you to identify leverage points where you can accelerate progress on sustainability whether through supply-chain, product design, operations or stakeholder engagement. You’ll become versed in the language of sustainability and learn practical tools and strategies to increase the impact and performance of your organization, while also enhancing your capacity for transformative leadership and resilience.

Course materials are available for download from the "Course Homepage" page. All materials are available for printing and review upon enrollment.
Final Exam
Online participants are asked to complete a final exam at the end of each course to maintain the integrity of the program. A score of 85% must be achieved to successfully pass the exam. A digital record of completion from Stanford University will be emailed to participants when they pass the exam.
Course Evaluation
It is required that participants complete the course evaluation once they have passed the final exam to receive their digital record of completion.
